Stefanie Szanto and Simon Bucher appreciate the grandeur within the most trivial hits of the 80ies and 90ies, while respectfully finding humour in the deep seriousness of classical music. This is why The High Horse is a unique mix of both worlds.
The Swiss evening will be enriched by traditional and more modern folk music from various parts of Switzerland. Instrumental and vocal pieces will be performed. Students from the Lucerne University of Music and established folk musicians will perform, accompanied by tasty Swiss specialities from our local caterer.
New York based microtonal ensemble Ekmeles performs „The Great Wall“ by Charles Uzor and vocal polyphony from the 15th and 16th centuries.
