About Session
Why not everyone needs to breathe into their abdomen Singing made easy thanks to the economisation of diaphragmatic movement. But how do we achieve this? The breathing type model shows how the respiratory muscles work in the two different breathing types. Put simply, there is abdominal breathing and flank breathing. Integrative voice training accompanies singers individually according to their type. You will experience working with your body rather than against it. The correct active-passive process leads to economisation of muscular movements and brings the voice into balance and harmony, as well as giving singers a sense of ease and well-being. As a teacher, you will learn to speak both ‘languages’ and will be able to provide your students with differentiated guidance in their singing.
