Best practice – Vocal pedagogy Lucerne

Since 2019 graduates of the Master’s degree programme in Vocal Pedagogy Classical and Jazz at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts meet to discuss vocal pedagogy topics. They are all working as singing teachers at music schools with different tasks and different workloads. This forum called “Stimmsitz”, which means vocal focus and sit together in one word, wants to exchange ideas and give further training.

Possible problems and “sticking points” in everyday teaching are addressed and discussed. Proposed solutions are developed together.

Moderation: Tanja Ariane Baumgartner, Basel

Evi Gallmetzer and Jasmin Schmid, lecturers at HSLU
