Evelyn Kallansee is an all-round singer and actress who started her professional career in the musical Les Miserables in the Netherlands, a Joop van den Ende production. After this production she started studying at the ‘Akademie voor Kleinkunst’ in Amsterdam. After her studies she used her versatile talent in different genres. She toured as a backing vocalist with Marco Borsato, one of the biggest selling singers in The Netherlands, she played parts in musicals like ‘Tsjechov’ ( Masja Tsjechov) ‘Evita’ and ‘Joe de Musical’ ( understudy Mathilde Santing) acted and sang in ‘Trojan woman’ by theatre company ‘Het Onafhankelijk Toneel’, sang in Pop-bands and did backing vocals for international singers.
Now her focus is on the Acid Jazz group Tristan. She is the lead vocalist and writes lyrics for this Band. Since 2014 they recorded 4 albums, been to number 1 in the U.K. Soul Charts and have Cd’s out in Japan where they toured last year. This successful Band has played at jazzfestivals all over Europe, at Cassablanca’s Jazz-festival in Morocco, and plan to go back to Japan in 2019.
Because Evelyn loves variety she also sings and records with the group D-licious vocals. Beautiful harmony singing with guitarist Herman Onnen and two other singers. There second album is due in September.

Herman Onnen started playing at the age of 18. He had never a real intention of becoming a professional Guitar player. After 2 years of studying at the Amsterdam Conservatory he decided to change his career. But fortunately, fate decided otherwise. During his study of Economics at the university of Utrecht, he started playing in all sorts of jazz and pop bands which finally resulted in what he’s still doing today, making music.
His favourite work is playing in ‘own music’ bands like Lichterlaaie (2000), Suzy Dexter (2003) and the Jeroen van Helsdingen EGO project (2006). Since 2005 he’s also playing with singer/ performer Herman van Doorn forming the group hermanherman producing 2 CD’s. Since 2014 he is now a member of the vocal group D-licious vocals in which he’s mostly playing his favourite instrument, the acoustic guitar.
Next to playing in his own bands/ projects he is also a free lance guitar player. Since 2000 he also played with several Dutch artists like e.g. Guus Meeuwis, Rene Froger, Jeroen van de Boom and Xander de Buisonje.
During the process of playing he developed another skill in music in which he can combine his musicality and enthusiasm namely, recording and producing in his own Studio Boslust.
