Barbara Hoos de Jokisch

Dr. Barbara Hoos de Jokisch studied theology, music, and German (teacher training) as well as vocal pedagogy. Pursued an artistic career as a concert singer and has extensive experience in vocal pedagogy, including positions at music universities in Berlin (UdK) and Mexico City (ENM/UNAM). Since 2012, she has been Academic Lecturer for Voice and Vocal Didactics at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and works as a coach for “Voice and Personality” for professionals in speaking careers. She teaches internationally and lectures on vocal pedagogy topics such as “Kaleidoscope of Vocal Methods”, and is the author of publications including “The Mental Sound Concept: Franziska Martienßen-Lohmann” (Breitkopf, 2015) and “The 7 Basic Elements of Voice Training” (Breitkopf, 2020).
