About Cornelia Kallisch
The mezzo-soprano Cornelia Kallisch began her musical career as an instrumentalist with violin and piano. She studied with Josef Metternich, among others, and completed her training at the Opera Studio of the Bavarian State Opera. This was followed by engagements in Paris, Milan and at the Zurich Opera House, among others. Since the beginning of her career, she has focussed intensively on lieder singing, is a sought-after teacher and gives masterclasses.
