Leonard Spyrou
About Leonard Spyrou
was born in Duisburg and spent his early childhood in Athens. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in music at the Lucerne School of Music in the class of Prof. Yvonne Lang. Alongside his work as a soloist, he developed a particular passion for art song accompaniment whilst studying and has been working regularly with singers and choirs ever since. He gained artistic inspiration from masterclasses with Andreas Haefliger, Edward Rushton and Cornelia Kallisch. From this autumn, he will begin his Master’s degree in Music Performance at the Bern University of the Arts under Zlata Chochieva. He has a particular interest in Romantic music and French Impressionism.
