About Martin Vácha
Prof. Dr. Martin Vacha was born in Lower Austria in 1972, obtained numerous academic degrees in music, education and cultural management after graduating from a music-focused secondary school and went on to earn his doctorate with distinction. As a concert singer (baritone), he has performed at venues including the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, the Vienna Konzerthaus, MuTh, the Radiokulturhaus Wien, the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Carinthian Summer Festival and the South Tyrol Festival. He teaches singing and „research practice” at the Department of Voice and Opera at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, regularly holds master classes and lectures at home and abroad, directs the Voice Academy Baden/Austria, is a juror at renowned competitions and president of EVTA-Austria. Martin Vácha is also an author and adult educator in the fields of music (including „Faszination Lied”) and game.
