About Sarah Algoet
Sarah Algoet (°1982, Kortrijk – Belgium) is a voice teacher and vocal coach, living and working in Spain, with a thriving international online teaching practice. Since founding singsing! in 2007, she guides singers across multiple genres and levels, both with and without microphones. Since 2021, she also mentors voice teachers and vocal coaches worldwide, helping them refine their teaching methods.
Sarah’s career spans performing, teaching, research, and leadership. She served as Visiting Professor of Voice in the Musical Theatre Department of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and co-founded EVTA.be (the Belgian Voice Teachers Association). Sarah regularly presents international masterclasses, workshops, and webinars on topics like hypermobility, microphone technique, extreme vocal effects and others, making them consistently practical, interactive, and fun.
Her evidence-informed and body-aware approach combines solid vocal science with a deep respect for artistic identity, helping singers develop healthy technique while shaping a sound that is truly their own.
Sarah’s mission is to empower singers and teachers alike: to address challenges while also celebrating unique talents, and to provide practical tools to keep voices healthy, resilient, and artistically free.
