About Glòria Vila Aymerich
Glòria Vila Aymerich is a singer-songwriter and modern vocal
instructor who is currently undertaking a PhD in Arts and Education
at the University of Girona. She earned a Master’s degree in Jazz and
Contemporary Music Performance at the Conservatori Superior del
Liceu (Barcelona), where she focused on the vocal works of Charles
Mingus, and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the
International University of La Rioja. Her research lies in the field of
voice pedagogy, with a particular emphasis on developing teaching
approaches that support more effective learning and strengthen
research practices within singing education. Alongside her academic
work, she maintains an active artistic career.
